Teitz's Syndrome:
The inflammation of costochondral joints is termed as Teitz's Syndrome. This is most often seen in young individuals of age less than 40 years. It is seen individuals having chronic cough, trauma, activities like swimming, washing, cleaning of ceiling or high structures. One can find tender, swollen joints anteriorly over the chest.
Costochondritis of multiple levels are seen in the age group more than 40 years. Because of multiple nature, there will be tenderness and radiating pain.

- Local infiltration with steroids + Local Anaesthetics
- Intercostal block
