Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction:
Sacroiliac joint is a plane variety of synovial joint. The articular surfaces show interlocking irregularities, which discourage movements at this joint.
Patients complain of severe acute pain radiating to hip, back, thigh and as far as knee. Pain gets aggravated by movement of hip joint, sitting on ipsilateral ischial tuberosity or lying on the affected side.
